dante wesley hit on clifton smith

Dante Wesley Hit on Clifton Smith:- One hit by Carolina Panther’s Dante Wesley knocked Clifton Smith down. However, even with Dante Wesley ejected from the game for dangerous hit, Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost to Panthers 28-21 on Sunday at Raymond James Stadium. Clifton Smith was diagnosed with concussion later.
It wasn’t a very pleasant sight for the loyal Buccaneers Fans on Sunday October 18, 2009 when not only their team lost to arch rivals Carolina Panthers but also ended up with their running back Clifton Smith suffering with concussion due to an illegal body encounter by Panther’s Dante Wesley during their clash at Raymond James Stadium.
A video recording shown on Fox initially and it covered the encounter from all possible angles, tells how Wesley went high up in the air while there was no signal whatsoever for a fair catch accept for a few second’s glimpse of a hand coming up. Therefore, Wesley claims that he simply mistimed it as he didn’t see the fair catch signal from the returner. Apparently there seems no valid reason for Wesley to leave the earth and jump up.
