One day after the incident that started it all, when a boy was believed to have been in a runaway giant helium balloon floating over Colorado, the public's interest in the boy and his family has not died down. On the contrary, Falcon Heene, the balloon boy, and his family has attracted more attention than before.
This was after speculation started to circulate that the whole thing was staged, a publicity stunt to attract attention as the family was reportedly pitching for a reality show. This speculation was bolstered because of the "we did it for the show" slip of Falcon on cam when interviewed yesterday.
